I got a tattoo Friday in memory of my Grandmother. She loved to sew and quilt, so I decided to do a needle and her name be like the “thread” that held everything together. I miss her a lot, even though she drove me nuts sometimes. But I’ve come to realize that she just wanted to do everything she could for me because I was her only grandchild and she only got to see me once or so every couple of years due to being a military child. But when I was born she lived with us for 6 months helping my mom take care of me while my dad was constantly always at work.
